TORAH LIVING RESOURCES AND TOPICS
These pages offer commentaries on living out our shared faith. Feel free to offer comments and questions on these and other topics. This page is offered because scripture is clear that we must walk, or live, as Jesus walked :
1 John 2:6 "whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked."
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." - We are to be new creatures with new desires; desires that align with the Word of God.
Obedience to the Lord and Living a life pleasing to the Lord, while not necessary for salvation, is part of growing once a person is transformed through salvation. Salvation is a gift that can never be earned by any action on our part save accepting the grace offered to us. It is through a personal relationship with the Father and the Son of the True and Living God, Yeshua of Nazareth, that the Holy Spirit, or Ruach HaKodesh, transforms our lives. Obedience is one of the most important aspects of our life in Messiah. Yeshua stressed "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." - John 14:15. These pages below offer suggestions only that deal with living a life dedicated to Messiah and walking as He walked. These pages offer scripture, customs (some old and some new), and examples in walking a life dedicated to righteous living.
